Anaesthetic fees
You will find information about anaesthetic fees at the Australian Society of Anaesthetists - Billing Information page. You should check with your own health fund as to the likely rebate you will receive from them.
Each of the anaesthetists of the Northern Beaches Anaesthetic Group is an independent medical practitioner and is required by law to set their own fees for their specialist services. The anaesthetic fees are principally determined by the type and the duration of your operation. Other factors such as your age and other significant illnesses you may have may also impact the fees. We will provide you with an estimate of your anaesthetist's fees, however, please note that this is an estimate only. As we base this estimate on the predicted time to complete the operation, the final fees may differ depending on the actual operation time.

MediTrust
We use MediTrust as our software medical billing provider. This is an Australian owned and operated company and is used by over 50 anaesthetic groups. Their computer servers are based in Australia and they fully comply with all regulations as legislated by The Privacy Act.
You may receive SMS text messages or emails with links from MediTrust for patient fee estimates, pre-payments, pre-operative anaesthetic questionnaires, invoicing, receipting and post-operative patient surveys.
